Harbour Furries Brand Story: It All Began with a sea fish

The original idea for this brand actually came from our own as dog owners. After years of raising our furry friends and going through all the ups and downs, we realized a very simple but often ignored truth: "Good teeth equal a healthy body!" If bacteria from dental tartar enters the bloodstream, it can be associated with severe systemic issues in the heart, liver, and kidneys. We know deeply that daily dental care is their first line of defense.

At the time, we started wondering: Why are most dental chews on the market made from imported frozen meats that have been sitting on cargo ships for months? Couldn't we give our furry kids a fresher, better choice?

As it happens, our team grew up in a Hong Kong fishing port, and our family has been rooted in Aberdeen for generations. Watching our elders bring in the daily catch, our standard for seafood has always been simple: "If it's not fresh, we don't eat it." Since we have family working as wholesale seafood merchants right in Aberdeen handpicking the catch for us, getting the absolute freshest, top-tier sea fish in Hong Kong is incredibly easy for us.

This sparked an idea: why not use the local fresh fish we are so proud of to save our furkids' teeth? It wouldn't just be a nutritious treat, but a functional dental HERO PRODUCT. And just like that, our signature dental chew - Ocean Gold, and our brand were officially born!
